Information

Since 1950 the Dutch Association has organised activities for the Dutch community in Hong Kong.
At present we organise:
 
Social Events:
A drinks night on the first Thursday of every month;
A quarterly coffee morning to welcome newcomers;
A black tie dinner to celebrate the official birthday of HM Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands (30 April);
An informal reception/dinner to celebrate “Leids Ontzet”, an historic Dutch autumn festival (3 October);
A comedy night with acts flown in especially from the Netherlands.
 
Sporting & Family Events:
A Dutch presence at the Stanley Dragon Boat Races;
A “Sinterklaas” (Saint Nicholas) procession for children (5 December);
An Easter egg hunt for children;
A jumble sale for families.
 
The Dutch Association is also the mouthpiece of the Dutch community in Hong Kong at large.
We publish a monthly e-mail newsletter and ‘Hollandse Nieuwe’ Magazine – a quarterly glossy magazine.
Membership is open to Hong Kong or China residents who have a connection with the Netherlands.
